Trying her hardest to ‘forward roll’

Resting her eyes after an exciting day. Little love didn’t sleep so good last night, so we were all tired this morning.
We had Ollie come over for lunch and fun in the sand and water pit. Ava was so tired when they left she just passed out.
Her half sisters are here for the weekend, so no doubt Ava will have a blast, she loves it when they’re here.

Cleaning her feet, she asks to have them thoroughly cleaned in the bath, scrub the bottom, between her toes, and whenever she has a baby wipe she whips off her socks and shouts “clean!” While wiping her feet. Kid is crazy.

Such a busy day, lovely lunch with Sam & Ollie, then to soft play where the kids ran me ragged and my tea went cold. Good job they’re cute! We had dinner at Craig’s parents, and sang songs before bed.
The last couple of days Ava has been REALLY trying to communicate some things with me, usually I don’t have a problem translating her “baby babble” but she seems to have just made a couple of words up, and I can’t for the life of me work out what she’s saying.
She also sang the Peppa pig theme tune in her sleep today, adorable isnt the word.
I should really be tidying, visiting the shop, and doing all the things I didn’t do today but I’m exhausted and just want to watch Netfix! I need some motivation.

Chilled out day today, Craig’s niece (Ava’s favourite cousin) was sent home from school sick so came to ours (no germs though!) we’ve played games, watched films, made an amazing huge pot of chilli, and skyped with our lovely friend Sadie. We’ve got a busy rest of the week, so it was nice to slow down for a day.

I haven’t taken a single photo today, we’ve been running around like crazy. We went to sensory this morning and Ava did so good! It was like something clicked with her, she did actions to songs, voiced her opinion on a couple of songs, hummed along, and then they got out messy play which was a pit full of foam with glitter in. Every mum cringed. Ava put one hand in and decided it wasn’t for her.
She loved on some of the babies, giving out kisses and handing out instruments, and she asked for the bubbles to be blown (she saw the container on the side) and won everybody over when she said “please”.
We nipped over to see ‘Yaya’ and ‘Big Yaya’ and went for a mooch round town, then went to play with Gracie. She’s been dancing around the living room all evening, swaying her hips, moving her head side to side, pointing her fingers, marching up and down… She loves music! She was so ready for bed, lets hope she gives me a lie in tomorrow like she did this morning.

Went into town today for a cuppa with friends, Ava ate her first ever Greggs sausage roll and loved it! We went for a walk round the pet shop looking at the fish and the rabbits, and then came home to chill before tea.
